Synopsis

Based on a true story, Bernard Jordon (Michael Caine) is living in a care home with his wife Irene (Glenda Jackson). He escapes from the care home having missed the deadline to go with other veterans to the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France and makes his own way there. The last film of both Caine (who retired) and Jackson.
