What made it special was having time to talk with guests, and those conversations really reminded us why these afternoons matter.

We welcomed several first-time visitors, including families supporting loved ones living with dementia. Seeing guests tapping along to the music, laughing together and simply enjoying the moment was genuinely special.

One conversation in particular stayed with us. A lady who had recently lost her husband told us that Sundays can feel like the longest day when you’re on your own. She came along for the first time… and told us she’ll be back.

That’s exactly why we do this.
