We run three regular screening streams at the Chantry Centre. Each has its own feel, but all include a friendly welcome, an interval and table service from our Volunteers.

Film Thursday

Monthly evening screenings with a themed cocktail or mocktail, Billericay Brewing Co. beers, wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee, snacks and an interval.

Screenings are usually on the first Thursday of the month. Our doors open at 7pm with the film starting at 7:30pm.

Sunday Matinee

Enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon with a cuppa, a slice of home-made cake, a natter and a film. Open to all, and especially welcoming to those coming on their own who would enjoy a little company.

Our screenings are usually on the third Sunday of the month. Our doors open at 2:30pm with the film starting at 3pm.

Relaxed Sunday: Dementia Friendly

A gentle, relaxed screening every two months on a Sunday. Open to all but we particularly welcome those living with dementia, their family, carers and friends.

Doors open at 2:30pm, with the film starting at 3pm. Lights are slightly higher, the sound is slightly lower and it is perfectly fine to tap your feet, hum along or move around.

Go to Billericay Community Cinema if you want a different experience. It’s run by the community for the community” (Audience feedback after Slumdog Millionaire)
