Sunday Matinee and Dementia Friendly screenings
The star of these shows is undoubtably the freshly baked, home-made cake prepared by our Volunteers. Lemon drizzle, Victoria sponge and gluten-free ginger cake are regulars, with occasional appearances by chocolate cake, carrot cake, fruit cake and cakes themed to the film!
Why refreshments matter
Refreshments are an important part of what makes Billericay Community Cinema special. They also help us keep ticket prices low and increase the donations we make to our supported local community groups.
For that reason, we ask that you do not bring your own refreshments to our screenings.
“I like the kitchen atmosphere and often also get to speak to the audience members – especially people I got to know when I was also in the audience”
(Jenny, Volunteer)
