One of the things we’re most proud of at Billericay Community Cinema is that any surplus we make is shared with local charities, community groups and good causes.

Since 2015, our audiences have helped us support all of the organisations shown below – from charities and community groups to volunteer-led organisations making a real difference to people’s lives – with over £11,000 of donations. Money that makes a real difference.

We’re now starting to think about our next donation recipients and we’d love to hear your suggestions.

The only criteria are that the organisation must:

• Either be based in Billericay, or provide services that are widely used by Billericay residents

If you know of a group doing great work in our community, please mention them in the comments and tell us a little about what they do.

After all, we’re not just a cinema, we’re a Community Cinema.
