It has been confirmed that the Iceland car park is now free at weekends. Although it may take a little while for the signs to catch up, Cllr Andy Barnes, Leader of Basildon Borough Council has confirmed that the change takes effect immediately.

For those joining us for our Sunday Matinees or Relaxed Sunday Dementia Friendly screenings, that’s one less thing to think about and a small saving on the cost of an afternoon out.

This also applies to the car park at Lake Meadows.
