We’re proud to announce the three wonderful local groups we’ll be supporting from July until Christmas:

❤️ Human Kind Cafe

  • You might think of Human Kind as being just a cafe, but it’s far more than that. It’s a local charity with a simple but powerful vision – creating a place where everyone experiences a lasting sense of belonging. Alongside its welcoming café, HumanKind brings people together through regular activities for all ages, helping to tackle loneliness and social isolation. The café operates on a “pay what you can” basis. Those who are able to contribute a little extra help fund meals and drinks for those who can’t, ensuring that no one is turned away because of their circumstances. Whether you’re popping in for a coffee, a meal or simply a friendly chat, you’ll always find a warm welcome.

☕ Sunny Days drop-in

  • Sunny Days drop in on Thynne Road hosts a weekly drop-in for senior citizens on Tuesday where they get together for a wide range of activities, company or just a chat over a cup of tea.

🌱 Billericay Community Garden

  • Tucked away behind Emmanuel Church on Laindon Road is the Billericay Community Garden It’s a shared growing space which encourages Billericay residents from all walks of life to volunteer and take part in growing together. They host regular Discovery Days, children from nearby schools come to discover and it’s a community space where people can learn, share and enjoy each other’s company

Any surplus from our Film Thursday and Sunday Matinee screenings will be shared between them, based on votes cast by our audiences after each film.

So every ticket bought, drink enjoyed and slice of cake eaten helps “pay it forward” to support more good work in our community.

We’re not just a cinema, we’re a Community Cinema.
