Synopsis

A semi-autobiographical film by John Boorman. 9 year old Bill (Sebastian Rice-Edwards) comes of age in a London suburb during the Blitz. As bombs fall, Bill’s family – mother, father and sister Dawn navigate the chaos with resilience and humour, finding unexpected adventures amidst wartime challenges.
