Being stuck at home over the next few weeks is bound to be a little frustrating.
The idea behind the Billericay Community Challenge is to run some competitions that can be done by anyone, will take a little time to complete and hopefully prove stimulating.

Fancy yourself as an artist ? An author ? A film critic ? Open to everyone within 2 miles of Billericay. These competitions – provided by local Billericay community groups – will be open throughout the spring and into the summer. Don’t worry if you’ve never done any of these activities before – neither have we !! You’ll never know what you can do unless you try.

Most of the challenges will have different age categories – from young children to fully grown adults. Some will even have prizes, provided by our generous sponsors.

Here’s what we’ve got so far:

  • Writing a Review of a film you’ve watched in isolation (Billericay Community Cinema)
  • A painting challenge (Billericay Art Trail)
  • A story challenge (The Cater Museum)
  • A grow a planter/pot challenge (Billericay Community Garden)
  • An exciting den challenge (Billericay Forest School).
  • An essay challenge (Billericay Town Council)
  • A designing challenge (Hazle’s Pottery Barn)
