Setting up @BillericayCine has been a very complex affair but we could not have done it without funding which has come from a number of different groups.

Billericay Town Council were our first supporter, giving us a £500 grant. It’s lovely to have such support from our own Town.

Essex County Council, through their fabulous “Community Initiative Fund” agreed to a large grant of £3,250 and have been very supportive of our initiative from its very beginnings in “Billericay’s Big Do” in March 2015.

Basildon Borough Council awarded us a grant of £1,800 through their “Grants to Organisations” fund in March 2016. This grant will be used to upgrade our audio system to surround sound, to improve our blackout blinds and to help provide those little things which together make up our unique “@BillericayCine Experience”.

Customers of Waitrose contributed Green Tokens one month which raised a massive £333.

Even before we’d got off the ground, a number of wonderful residents provided sponsorship money when some of us took part in the 2015 John Baron “Fun Walk” which, when the “Bonus Pot” was added raised over £700

Round Table - Sponsor

Finally, we are grateful to Billericay Round Table who donated £500 which has helped pay for the ever popular beanbags that the kids sit on during “Family Sundays” and t-shirts for our volunteers to really build up the team spirit !
